Resolution Recognizes Merlin Olsen
March 19, 2010
Sigma Chi International Fraternity recognizes the late Merlin Olsen, UTAH STATE 1962, with a resolution in honor of his life. Olsen was a devoted Fraternity volunteer, earning induction in 1985 into the Order of Constantine, Sigma Chi's highest honor; he was also a Significant Sig and a Hall of Fame Sig. He helped to advance the Fraternity's early philanthropic endeavors with Children's Miracle Network (CMN), one of Sigma Chi's three preferred charities. The Fraternity's International President Wayne Tucker, BAYLOR 1985, and its Executive Committee urge brothers to designate the contributions that they make to CMN in May in memory of Olsen.
