A Kentucky native, McKenzie "Mac" Mullins graduated from Western Kentucky University in 2013 with a degree in Communication. He interned for the Fraternity Communications Association and a US Congressman before accepting a position at Sigma Chi Headquarters. As an undergraduate, McKenzie served as pledge class president, chapter editor, Tribune, scholarship chair, and Quaestor of the Zeta Mu chapter.
While at WKU, McKenzie was involved with a number of different campus organizations, including student government, Public Relations Student Society of America, Lambda Pi Eta Communication Honors Fraternity, the WKU Greek Leadership Symposium Planning Committee, and the student advisory board for the WKU ALIVE Center for Community Partnerships. In the spring of 2013, he was named the WKU Communication Studies Major of the Year and was inducted into the WKU Greek Hall of Fame.
The director of chapter support works with and manages the chapter support team to provide an added level of guidance to the undergraduate chapters of the Sigma Chi International Fraternity. Success in this position requires well-developed skills in organization, communication, time-management and the ability to work synergistically with a large number of volunteers and staff members. This position also requires the ability to quickly develop working relationships with various staff, university professionals, undergraduates and alumni to accomplish the goals of the chapter support team. A team-oriented mindset and motivation are essential to working as part of the chapter support seam and as a member of the Sigma Chi International Headquarters staff.
