Katie was born and raised in the Chicago suburbs and attended Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois, where she majored in early childhood education and minored in leadership studies. She became a member of Kappa Delta Sorority in the fall of 2011, and a few years later realized she could do fraternity and sorority life as a job. This lead her to pursue a master's degree in college student personnel from Western Illinois Univeristy, where she graduated in May 2017. Katie continues to cultivate a love of ritual and values-based decision making, which she is excited to pursue in her work with the Balfour Leadership Training Workshop and members of Sigma Chi.
As the associate director of programs administration, Katie's primary responsibility is the planning and implementation of the Krach Transformational Leaders Workshop. Katie will be working closely with Team Krach, the Education Leadership Board and the rest of the leadership programs Fraternity staff to continually grow and improve the workshop for undergraduate and alumni members. She will also support the many leadership programs and new initiatives of the Sigma Chi International Fraternity.
