Sigma Chi Wins 2016 Saba Customer Excellence Award

Service provider honors Sigma Chi for a “Fabulous First Year”

On May 9, Saba Software Inc. unveiled the winners of its 2016 Customer Excellence Awards, with Sigma Chi accepting the award for “Fabulous First Year.” The Fraternity has partnered with Saba to create Sigma Chi U, the online learning management system that is a component of the Preparation for Brotherhood pledging program.

“The Saba Customer Excellence Awards are designed to recognize and celebrate Saba customers who are leaders and innovators in learning, development and talent management,” said Saba’s chief customer service officer Paige Newcombe in a statement. “Sigma Chi Fraternity impressed our judges with its unique story and the way [the] organization is optimizing its use of Saba to deliver on-demand leadership development and educational programming in support of its vision to become a pre-eminent collegiate leadership development organization.”

First unveiled to brothers participating in the Preparation for Brotherhood’s Alpha test phase in fall 2015, Sigma Chi U offers a web-based delivery of the Fraternity’s chapter and member development programs to help undergraduates improve their operations, education and overall Fraternity experience. Eventually, it will allow the Fraternity’s leadership programming to reach each of Sigma Chi’s nearly 16,000 undergraduates during their college experience.
