Headquarters Welcomes New Staffers To Begin Summer

Five positions filled as Fraternity’s conference season begins

With 79th Grand Chapter approaching in June, the Fraternity is welcoming new members to its staff as it enters the summer.

Sigma Chi International Headquarters welcomes John Pavlichko, SAINT FRANCIS 2013, began May 20 as the Fraternity’s new financial accountability coordinator. Damon Hudson, NEW MEXICO 2013, also began May 20 as the new chapter support coordinator. Justin Brandt, LOUISVILLE 2013, joined him later as a chapter support coordinator in early June.

David Hackworthy, ST. THOMAS 2012, began his Headquarters career on May 28, 2013, as the new leadership programs coordinator. One day later, he left to prepare for Session One of the Fraternity’s Horizons leadership development program as he readies to take on that program as his primary responsibility.

On June 10, Matt Coffin, DEPAUW 2013, will begin shadowing current leadership programs coordinator Scott Ritter, NORTHWESTERN 2012, as he begins his career as a leadership programs coordinator. Coffin’s main role will be organizing the Fraternity’s Balfour Leadership Training Workshop and will begin the full responsibility of that role when Ritter transitions out of his position in mid-August.

Switching roles within Headquarters will be Lucas Peralta, NEW MEXICO 2012, who will take over as the new alumni services and volunteer coordinator on June 17, after working as receptionist and special projects coordinator in his one year with Headquarters. He will shadow Reece Schenkenfelder, WESTERN KENTUCKY 2010, who will transition out of his role in August.

In the Marketing Communications department, former copy editor Ryan Priest, WASHINGTON (SEATTLE) 2009, will fill the associate editor position, and he will also process all Chapter Eternal matters for the Fraternity.

The Fraternity currently has two openings available with the copy editor and receptionist/special events positions yet to be filled.
