Dennis R. Santoli, CASE WESTERN 1967, began his involvement with Sigma Chi with his Initiation into the Beta Alpha chapter at Western Reserve University (which later merged with the Case Institute of Technology) on Feb. 1, 1964. As an undergraduate, Dennis served his chapter as recruitment chairman, Quaestor (treasurer) and Pro Consul (vice president). He has been a member of the Case Western chapter's house corporation for more than 30 years, and is a longtime member of the Washington, D.C., and Cleveland alumni chapters. He became a Life Loyal Sig on April 21, 1995, and shortly thereafter became president of the Northern Virginia Alumni Chapter for a period of five years. At the Fraternity's 2001 Grand Chapter, Dennis was elected Grand Praetor (regional advisor) of the Eastern Virginia Province and remained in that role for six years. His fellow Grand Praetors elected him as their representative to the Executive Committee at the 2003 Grand Chapter, and he served in that position for four years. In 2004, he was inducted into the Order of Constantine, the Fraternity’s highest honor for members with a long and distinguished history of service to the Fraternity. At the 2007 Grand Chapter in San Jose, Calif., Dennis was elected to the office of Grand Quaestor (international treasurer). He was then elected Grand Pro Consul (international vice president) in 2009, and Grand Consul (international president) at the 2011 Grand Chapter in Dallas, Texas. The primary focuses of his two-year term are the standardization and enhancement of the Fraternity's pledge programming, and Ritual comprehension and practice.

Dennis received his Juris Doctorate from Georgetown University in 1972 and is presently admitted to the bars of the District of Columbia and Ohio. In addition to his credentials as an attorney, he has spent the largest portion of his career in the insurance industry. Dennis has collected more than 30 years of executive leadership experience, serving as founder and CEO of Health Facilities Insurance Company Ltd., and founder, chairman, president and CEO of The Campania Group LLC. Since 2010, he has been president and CEO of Hanover Healthcare, the medical liability insurance division of the Hanover Insurance Group.
